Salonina

Salonina (253 – 268) was the virtuous and intelligent wife of Gallienus, and they had three children together: Valerian II, Saloninus and Marinianus. Not much is known of her origins or of her life after her husband’s death.
Salonina was given title of “Augusta” when husband became emperor in 253. Her fate after her husband was murdered is unknown.
